The Jo Anne J. Trow Scholarship Award

The Jo Anne J. Trow Scholarship for sophomores and juniors is offered as a local scholarship through Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society and through National Alpha Lambda Delta. The most outstanding local applicants will compete for National Alpha Lambda Delta’s scholarships. Our local awards vary in monetary amounts. Please note that the deadline for the local Trow Scholarship differs from the National deadline for this scholarship.  The local scholarships are normally due in the fall semester and the national scholarships will have a spring deadline.

Each year, National Alpha Lambda Delta awards 50 scholarships to outstanding undergraduate members, ranging from $1,000 to $6,000. These scholarships have been established to help qualified members offset the costs of their education. Candidates will be considered on the basis of merit.

In order to apply, students must submit:

1. Complete the online application (link below).
2. Two letters of recommendation (at least one must be from a faculty member).
3. An official transcript in the envelope containing your application.
4. A 2”x3” wallet-size photo.
