The ALD Honor Society is a University of Maryland Honor Society which represents two national honor societies, Alpha Lambda Delta. The national honor society recognizes academic excellence during a student’s first year in college.
The purpose of these organizations is to:
- Encourage superior academic achievement.
- Promote intelligent living.
- Assist students in recognizing and developing meaningful goals for their roles in society.
