Rebecca is a senior Public Health Science major who aspires to get a Masters in Public Health and attend medical school. After serving as ALD’s Academic Enrichment Vice-President for two years; Now, she proudly serves as Co-President. She is an undergraduate researcher at the Fritz Lab at UMD, YogiTerps executive leader, and passionate America Reads mentor. She has enjoyed internships at Saint Agnes Pediatric ER and Law Offices of Alex Poberesky. Charmaine Yuan

Charmaine is a senior General Biology and Psychology double major on the pre-med track, hoping to become a pediatrician. She is also involved in the American Medical Student Association and TC (a service club), and is a TA. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering, reading, baking, and spending time with friends and family.

Morgan Grizzle

Morgan is a senior Criminology & Criminal Justice Systems and Psychology dual degree who plans to attend law school upon graduation from UMD. This is her second year serving as Vice President of Membership and is excited to continue to get people involved in ALD & PES. Morgan is also a member of the Gamer Symphony Orchestra, volunteers with The Petey Greene Program, and is involved with several other clubs and honor societies. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, binge watching her favorite shows on Netflix, and watching way too many makeup videos.

Sindhu Murugan

Sindhu is a junior Physiology and Neurobiology major with a minor in General Business. This is her first year as the VP of Volunteerism, having served on the Volunteerism Committee for the past two semesters. She is part of the Gemstone Honors Research program, is an Experience Leader for Alternative Breaks, and is involved in the American Medical Student Association. In her free time, she likes to sing, read, and travel.

Sophie Pariseau

Sophie is a Psychology and Criminology & Criminal Justice double major in her junior year here at UMD. Upon graduating, she plans to work closely with agencies profiling criminals and assessing inmate populations. In addition to working with ALD’s Academic Affairs, Sophie is also part of a sorority and the school’s Armenian Club. When she’s not doing schoolwork, she enjoys hanging out with her friends, working out, and traveling.

Lauren Stuart

Lauren is a junior Biology major aspiring to attend Medical School after graduation from UMD. She is not only the VP of Academic Enrichment but also a member of Terps Against Hunger, Catholic Terps, TerpSki and YoungLife. She enjoys playing lacrosse, volunteering at the Hospital, spending time with her family, painting and baking. This year she is also researching with CarasLab on campus to explore the neural basis of sensory plasticity. She is very excited to commit to her new role with ALD and expects nothing short of a successful year.

Miranda Morris

Miranda is a senior dual degree in History and Communication with a minor in Spanish Literatures, Linguistics and Cultures. This is her third semester acting as the VP of Communications, having served as a committee member for the 2017-2018 school year. Outside of ALD, she works as a tutor at the Writing Center and on Production Management Crew at the Clarice. She is also thoroughly enjoying her communications internship with Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts. Miranda is a graduate of the Arts Scholars Program as well as the Undergraduate Technology Apprentice Program. In her spare time, she likes to catch up on her favorite shows and novels, hang out with friends, and get back to playing guitar.

Molly is a junior, government and politics major concentrating in international relations.  She is minoring in global terrorism and global poverty.  As well as being involved in ALD, she is also involved on campus in her sorority Alpha Delta Pi and club soccer.  In her free time, she enjoys Netflix, running, and reading.

Jenny Yin

Jenny is a junior, Public Health Science major and plans to attend dental school after college. She is also a part of the Delta Epsilon Mu Coed Professional Pre-Health Fraternity on campus. This is her first time as VP of Finance and she is extremely excited to meet and work with members. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, spending time outdoors, and reading.

Hyekang (Kevin) Joo

Kevin is a junior Computer Science major with double minors in Technology Entrepreneurship & Global Engineering Leadership.  Kevin is currently serving as a TA for a computing science course at UMD.  On top of ALD, Kevin is serving as President of Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).  Over the summer of 2019, Kevin served as an Software Development Engineer intern at Amazon, and he will be returning back to Amazon in the summer of 2020.
